1982: The “Birth” of DELTA-PI
The company’s history begins in 1982, when Vasileios Papadopoulos and Nikolaos Dimitriadis founded the general partnership “Vasileios Papadopoulos – Nikolaos Dimitriadis OE,” under the distinctive title DELTA-PI. The company’s headquarters were located at YMCA (XANTH) Square in Thessaloniki, where they took their first steps in the industry.
1992: Start of Building Construction in the Sindos Industrial Area (VIPETH) Ten years after its founding, the company proceeded with the purchase of a plot of land in the Sindos Industrial Area (VIPETH) and the construction of offices and a production space with a total area of 500 m², marking the beginning of its growth.
1994: Relocation and Legal Transformation
In 1994, DELTA-PI relocated its operations to its new building in the Sindos Industrial Area (VIPETH) and changed its legal form, transforming from a General Partnership (OE) into a Société Anonyme (SA) with the distinctive title DELTA PI ABETE.
1998: Expansion of Production Space
The company’s continuous growth led to the expansion of its production space in 1998, covering increased needs and new market challenges.
2002: The First International Project
In 2002, the company completed its first project abroad, confirming its ability to compete on an international level and expand its influence beyond Greek borders.
2007: Second Building and Continuous Growth
Growth continued in 2007 with the acquisition of a second 1,000 m² building in the VI.PE.TH.2 , which enhances the company’s production capacity and efficiency.
2012: The New Generation on the Board of Directors
In 2012, the new generation joined the company’s Board of Directors, bringing fresh ideas and a vision for its further development while maintaining the company’s ongoing trajectory and values.
2013: Business Diversification
In 2013, the company expanded its activities by establishing two new divisions:
DELTA-PI Domiki and DELTA-PI Systems
aiming to meet the growing market needs in the construction and
systems sectors.
2022: 40 Years of Success and Growth
