ROOF
Roofs with a 30 degree slope, which provides an optimum strength while maintaining low peak heights for overhead conveyors, elevator legs and related equipment. The 30 degrees roof slope also closely matches natural grain slope to help to reduce silo overfill and possible resulting roof damage.
SYMAGA’s roof ribs are taller, full lapped – double and triple – rib formed. This roof combination, along with the corrugation of the panels, provides added strength on commercial silo roofs. Optionally we can provide a vented roof panel, which is pre-punched in order to allow roof vents to be placed in a proper and sure way.

Roofs of silos 12,98 meters diameter and larger diameters have a structural roof. This roof is provided with a strong structure, design to support overhead equipment, spouting, catwalks, etc. without any modification to the silo roof. This structure is formed by beams and purling in Sendzimir galvanized steel.
CORRUGATED STEEL BODY SHEET
Corrugation of 76 mm pitch for 14 mm deep with a useful height of 1.140 mm and useful length of 2.400 mm.

STIFFENERS
Outside galvanized stiffener carries the vertical load of the silo to the foundation. Manufactured with Sendzimir galvanized high strength steel (420 N/mm2) and 600 gr/m2 of galvanization, provides one strong and long lasting structure. Also the outside position of the stiffeners, avoids grain contamination, which is produced when the stiffeners are inside. The steel quality of the stiffeners together with the strong joints, assure the best stability for the silo.
Our stiffeners are galvanized, being “omegas” of 75 mm width and useful length of 1.140 or 2.280 mm. Steel quality is: S 350 GD according the norm UNE-EN-10346: 2009

Bolting is coated by a hot dip galvanization process ccording to EN-ISO 10684: 2006.
