The indented cylinder separator is used to remove both long and short unwanted admixture from the product (wheat, corn, rice, lentils, etc.).
The incoming product, to be separated, enters the first cylinder, on the inner walls of which there are deep-drawn teardrop or spherical-shaped pockets in which the unwanted materials are trapped. During the rotation of the cylinder, the unwanted material is collected in a special pockets and removed with an auger, while the rest is transferred to the next cylinder.
During the second separation, the desired product nestles perfectly in the special recesses, while materials of a larger size are removed which do not pass during the rotation of the cylinder.
